WHERE IS EXTREMA LOCATED?
You can find us on the beautiful grounds of De Plas in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium.
The festival site includes a dense forest, a clear lake – including a beach – and enough space for 7 stages (which we call Districts) and the Aperol Spritz area.
WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS?
THURSDAY: camp site check-in starts at 16h
FRIDAY: 12h00 – 00h00
SATURDAY: 12h00 – 00h00
SUNDAY: 12h00 – 00h00
After-party at the camp site (for camping guests only) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
ARE THERE LOCKERS AVAILABLE?
Yes, there will be lockers in several sizes (Small/Medium or Large) available at both the festival entrances and at the camping site. Lockers at the camping site will be provided with electric facilities to charge your phone or other devices. Payments can be done in cash or by card. You can buy your lockers in advance via our ticket shop or on the festival grounds.
IS EXTREMA FOR YOUNG & OLD?
Extrema is an 18+ event. It is possible that our crew will ask you for your ID and if you don’t have it on you, they can deny you access to the festival. So don’t take that risk and make sure to bring your ID.
ARE THERE OFFICIAL AFTERPARTIES?
Yes, every day we have official after-parties at the camp site and at Labyrinth Club (Area V) in Hasselt.
You can only enter the camp site afterparties with a valid camping ticket (Holiday Ticket, Holiday VIP ticket or if you are staying at The Extrema Resort). Tickets are being sold for the afterparties at Labyrinth Club.
IS RE-ENTRY POSSIBLE?
For day visitors, re-entry is not possible. For those ticket holders the rule ‘IN=IN, OUT=OUT’ applies.
For camping, weekend and/or Extrema Resort visitors, re-entry is possible.
I HAVE ALLERGIES! CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGES?
It is not allowed to bring your own food and/or beverages. There are a wide variety of food stands on the festivalgrounds which include many vegetarian and vegan options. So there will be something for everyone. We do advise, however, if you have any severe allergies to always inform the manager of the food truck. They can propose adjustment to the dish where possible so that you can still enjoy the food.
CAN I GET HEARING PROTECTION AT THE FESTIVAL?
Yes. Our partner Alpine Hearing Protection developed special earplugs with filters that ensure the sound doesn’t distort so that the music experience remains great while protecting your ears. You will be able to have a conversation wearing them while enjoying the music safely.
You can also find free disposable ear plugs at the info booth located near District 3. The quality of the music will not be as good as when using Alpine ear plugs but your ears will be protected.
I RECENTLY BECAME A MOM AND AM LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO EXPRESS MILK?
Please go to the first aid stand between District 2 and 3 or at District 7. There you’ll be able to express milk.
CAN I CHARGE MY ELECTRIC CAR?
There’s a charging point close to Entrance Blue: Europarklaan 102
